I've heard about travelers who never check-in luggage and find it fascinating. It sounds so breezy to be able to fit all your worldly possessions into a backpack and just zoom through airports. I'm probably the opposite of that. I have a big suitcase, a backpack (you can see it in the photo above), my yoga mat and my handbag. And I will check everything in if I could.
Yes, I'm one of those weirdos that doesn't mind waiting at baggage claim to get my bag. I also hate walking around with a huge backpack. I'm like the opposite of a backpacker. I'm a slackpacker. :D
I know friends who hate waiting at the luggage claim, though I just don't understand why? We've already spent so much time at the airport, why not a few more minutes? Ah well, to each their own I suppose.
